Mary Bishop's Pumpkin Bread

  Another wonderful holiday dish!  Mary Bishop gave me this recipe in a cookbook for a wedding gift and just got around to making it.  Hope you love it, too :)

Pumpkin Bread

1 cup vegetable oil
4 cups cooked pumpkin
4 cups sugar
5 cups flour
1 tsp cloves
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Combine oil and pumpkin
Sift dry ingredients
Combine with pumpkin
add vanilla and nuts!

Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Hmmm....
